The Texas School Climate Insights is a cloud-based, all-in-one school climate platform designed to help school systems measure, analyze, and improve school climate. Developed through a collaborative partnership between the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH) at The University of Texas at Austin, Educational Service Center (ESC) Region 16, and the Texas Center for Student Supports, with support and alignment from Texas education partners, including TEA, the platform provides a highly secure, scalable environment for gathering local feedback.

School leaders can easily distribute tailored, validated surveys specifically designed for students, staff, and families to gather comprehensive insights on campus safety, engagement, and environment, while keeping student information secure and responses completely anonymous. Post-survey, interactive dashboards provide clear visual charts to help educators analyze results, track multi-year trends, and access tailored, evidence-based recommendations to build, track, and execute customized campus improvement plans.

TxSCI supports the complete school climate improvement process by helping schools prepare for surveys, administer them with fidelity, analyze results, and create actionable plans that improve conditions for teaching and learning. Designed specifically for Texas schools and hosted on the Texas Education Exchange, the platform combines assessment, data visualization, improvement planning, evidence-based resources, progress monitoring, and reporting support into a single, integrated system. It can also help districts address Safe and Supportive School Program requirements through Texas-aligned tools and resources.
