The TalentED Dashboards, developed by TEA and offered to all school systems free of charge, are focused on connecting school systems with talent data. By aggregating state and school system data together into visualizations, these dashboards enable school systems to assess and update their strategies related to hiring and retention practices.

  • School systems can better understand the retention of their new hires.
  • School systems can better understand the transitions of paraprofessional and auxiliary staff into teaching roles.
  • School systems can better understand the retention of their teachers by assignment.

Technical Information

Integration Steps
If you are already an Exchange partner, you will be able to access the TalentED Dashboards on the Exchange portal following launch. If you are not an Exchange partner, you will need to create an Exchange account and identify a school system appointee that will provide role assignments and permissions for your school system users.
Type of Data Needed for Application
This application can utilize state data to populate the dashboards. However, to see the freshest version of the data, you will need to be an Exchange partner and agree to share your staff ODS data.
Security Practices

How do you de-identify data?

Two roles can be requested for this application. When appropriate for their role in the school system, district administrators can request a role that provides individual level details. For all other users, visualizations are shown at an aggregate level.

How do you dispose of data?

No data is collected through this application.

Do you use data for advertising?

No.

Where do you store your data?

Data is stored in securely in the Exchange Warehouse.
