The Exchange team has been busy! We participated in nine presentations and panels at multiple conferences in two weeks, plus received one significant award for our work in making education data easy to access for districts across the state.

Highlights from Our Recent Adventures:

  • Showcasing Our Latest Updates

  • Sharing Lessons Learned

  • Building Community

  • Highlighting Our Partnership with ASCENDER

  • Winning the Ed-Fi Alliance Community Service Award

At the beginning of the month, our team hit the road to San Antonio just off the Riverwalk to participate in the Ed-Fi Summit 2024: Spurring Innovation and Accelerating the Future of Education. Alongside our partners, we discussed updates to our products and applications and lessons learned along the way, including the importance of building community and the value and reward of Human-Centered Design. We participated in panel discussions to discuss what it’s like to educate districts and charter schools about the impact of interoperable systems. We were honored to receive the Ed-Fi Alliance’s Community Service award recognizing The Exchange’s collaboration with TEA to deliver a Human Capital Systems Dashboard and our work to build the Tech Console that will be open-source and available for use by the Ed-Fi Alliance as the Admin Console. We are grateful for the hard work of our team, our build partners, and so many others invested in this big dream.

The following week, our team set out again to San Antonio to meet and chat with districts and charter schools across the Lone Star State about the value of The Exchange at the ASCENDER User Conference 2024: The Winning Path. We got a front-row seat to the in-person discussion about our partnership with ASCENDER and had the opportunity to teach hundreds of people about our product lineup.

No matter the venue, we are humbled by the opportunities we have had to push education technology forward. We will continue to find new ways to elevate this work to ensure better student outcomes.
